Can't get Light attributes to work
« on: March 05, 2009, 09:50:26 am »

I feel pretty dumb for asking this here haha.. but i really would like to figure this out. I downloaded the example 'bucky ball' file that has both a regular and a multijittered shadow light in it. It render out fine.

Then I tried to remake the scene myself, and whatever I did, I always got the default (multijittered) result.
I tried adding a new light in the bucky ball file, and adding a "sampler" attribute with a "regular" string. No luck. It would show up as a multijittered light.

I must be overlooking some Very obvious. If someone could help me out it would be awesome ^^

Sorry for double posting but I'm really trying to get an answer to this ^,^ Maybe if you read this Steve you would like to reply.

I tried recreating it in an older version of v0.97 , but no luck there either ..

I would really like to get this to work, since it gives better effects on lower samples!

there's no art raytracer in the older versions. it says that in the 0.97d forum.

Hey rctmonger1108, ART has been present since v0.97a preview, I thought maybe something was changed since then so that the light attributes didnt work anymore, but this wasnt the case ;)
