Edge Looping inquiry
« on: January 28, 2008, 11:46:47 pm »

I have the basic idea of how to use edge loops on a face such as making eyes, noses, and mouths, but i'm trying to figure out how to use edge looping on joints like on a human model(around elbows and knees). When i try to box model a basic humanoid shape and make a figure and paint weights the model doesn't move right when i go into sequence mode

One of the most useful things to know about edgeloops on a human body is that they tend to follow the flow of muscles.  So by studying anatomy you have a very good reference, or of course, yourself.  One of the most useful tutorials to help with edgelooping is Tony Jung's tutorial.  If you do a google search I'm sure you can find it.
