Estruding along a path
« on: February 26, 2009, 03:15:08 pm »

When I try to extrude say a polygon along a path to make a bend tube, Anim8or always extrudes it with the polygon facing such that I end up with a flat plane bent along the path.  Does any one know what I'm doing wrong?

Turn the path 90 degrees so it faces to righ way, or extrude along an other axis.

If you need to make sure your polygon will be extruded properly, draw it in the front view (just like you would do if you wanted to extrude it along the Z axis).
