Any ASL Tutorials?
« on: December 28, 2008, 05:00:08 pm »

Well I have been reading the ASL introductions and Leslie's tutorials and I am now starting to understand the basics of it now, but I was wondering if there are any more tutorials since I am finding them hard to come by.

Yes, you're right, there are not many resources for those who want to learn ASL...

I've been working on a tutorial for a while, I plan to release it soon. I'll post a link here once it's done, be patient ;)

I can wait ;D

I am getting the basics and what each function can do but I am trying to figure out how to put all of it together.
I have found ASL to not be as user friendly as Java(that may be because I am familiar with the language), but ASL has some components that are similar to Java so that has helped with my understanding of the language and now I can see that people with no programming skills can find programming difficult to understand.

I also had troubles finding some ASL tutorials, but after I looked in manual and some of the scripts, I began to understand and made my first script ;D. I also believe the ASL is based on C++, so you could look a bit on some tutorials about C++.

I've found the page in Google, but when I try to open it it says the page doesn't exist... This is really weird. Never mind...
