Not that there's anything specifically wrong with posting texture images, it's an easy task for anyone to find textures on the web by simply typing "texture" into your web browser Search window.  And with so MANY texture files available on the web, from a multitude of sites, it makes far more sense to simply post links to out-of-the-ordinary sites, rather than replicate --- once again --- the textures that already exist elsewhere. 

Besides, there are better uses for the Anim8or forums.

I agree with Rudy on this one.  Perhaps if anybody finds great texture sites they could just post links here.  There are also a couple of sites set up specifically to provide crits and resources to anim8ors, specifically animanon.com and anim8or.org.  It might be better to put this post on one (or both) of those sites.

(PS: great textures though, and your intention of helping fellow anim8ors is appreciated)

that's the point, i don't want textures that you could just type "big metal texture" and find it, i want a site like this site

Sorry for year late bump >_>

But removed illegal images of half-life 2, you'd have to understand that i was quite young and really didn't understand the whole "not posing copyrighted materials" thing...

Sorry if i ever got anyone into trouble doing that.
