I got anim8or to work on vista, but you might need to set somethings, you can look in the menu "Vista Problems". Another thing is that I don't thing anim8or supports multi cores.

Anim8or works fine with vista, there are some problems but most of them can be fixed. Read through the Vista problems section for more info. This question has been asked alot on the forum, please try a topic search before starting a new topic.

Another thing is that I don't thing anim8or supports multi cores.

It doesn't, but when you have multiple cores (especially when running vista) go render>multithreaded. This will make anim8or more stable, because communication with the OS will be better.
