thanks for the help, i'll try it out, i might look for some more tutorials on it, since i've been fiddling around with it, but i can't seem to get the right sort of map for it, does it only make a map of all the faces on the side, front and back? or can you set it to make a net?
it's a bit confusing, but i'll get there in the end

here's what i've come out with so far, but i'm guessing that i can't really texture it well like this

What's amazing about this forum, is this is the only person I've ever seen banned from the forum.
Shows that not evryone out there (that actually have some brains to do 3d animation) are bad. :)

Ok RnDr FOX what type of textures do you need?
I'll make a file and mail over as much as my mail box will allow.  :)

This is the classroom scene so far, I have a few more props to model and I need to apply the texture to the cupboard to complete it.

Going mountain biking in the morning so I should be able to finish it some time in the afternoon.
Hope you all like it?

looks great :D

Just better hope everyone else uses a similar 'style'. That classroom is bright and cartoony (Cel-shaded I think is the term). It wouldn't blend well with a darker, more realistic model.

I've tried to combine a cartoony and a realistic feel to the models I have made for this project and so far I think I have achieved it.  :)
I've not seen any other models for the project yet, so I also hope that there is some sort of consistency, ??? but, saying that it would be appealing if there is some amount of contrast.
RnDr FOX and the rest of use are looking for originality. Also this will be a good indicator of each individuals own modelling style.
