This is my first real attempt at a scene and as you can see is not yet complete.
I have just started using UVMapper and am still at a very basic level of texturing.

Not sure how to add lights and shadows yet either.  :P

AMAZING! you're starting ot move away from the newb status at the moment, i have just kinda got the hang of shadows, so i'll post a few pics here, but first you'll need to tell me how to get the picture that big on the forum

well there's a button that looks like this
......
:....:    next to the mouse button and above the rotate tool, you just click that and it should allow you to drag select, for more information, take a look at the menu

falloffalot, this is beautiful.
Once you have practised texture and light it will look like a photograph.

Thanks everyone :)
3D Joe, what I did to post a pic that big was:
Render at 800 x 700, then
compress it with MS pic manager to reduce the KB (about 40KB), then
upload to my photobucket account and use the copy the IMG code to paste it into my post.
Sounds a little complex reading it back but, it can't be that hard if I can do it.  :P

Could someone help me to make shadows please?

Thanks
