What I think is that we should make a thread talking about the project and anyone who wants to contribute can be given a certain job or if they just want to donate a model they can email to me. From there we can build on that. We can also say whoever helps or donates anything will have there name in the credits. What do you think   Is that a start.

yep,but dont count on me animating at all, my pc is slow.this seems like a good idea.

nice idea, if this goes ahead i would be happy to join, but i, like  I'm not a people person, have a slow computer, so don't count on many animation renders from me

Ok right  before I make the post and this project is a go this is what im going to put on the post. Tell me what you think. Also what jobs do you want. And one more thing I may not be 100% reliable on the weekdays becaouse of school. So you all may have to take up the torch from time to time if I become unaviable. Sorry for saying so much but WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!!! because I dont want it to end just us working on it so in the inventation I will put if we do not get enough help the project can and will be droped. So tell me what you think before I make the post and the project is a go. What do you all think of you titles? Do you want me to change them? 


                                                    ANIM8OR NOOB PROJECT!!!
BACKGROUND: The story behind this project is that I have noticed there has been alot of projects going on such as anim8or the movie and so on. This will give us noobs a chance to make our own project and help broaden our horizon on anim8or.

HOW IT WILL WORK: If you want to join reply to the post saying I want to join. Simple as that!!! If you want a job tell us what job you want and we will see what we can do. Also we will take donated models!!! Like if there is a model that you made and you want us to use it in the short film just attach the file on the forum or email it to me at travelin_texan3@yahoo.com  WE DO NOT CARE WHAT THE MODEL IS!!! it can befrom an eggplant to your latest work. So please join in on the fun!!!

THE THEME: There is not a solid theme since most of the models will be donated. What the theme I was thinking of is a grandson walks into his grandfathers den asking him to tell him a story about his childhood. So then his grandpa tell him a fairytell like story about one of his adventures as a boy. So as you can tell we have endless possiblilites on the models we can use so donate whatever you want. We will build on that.

THE CACHE: There is none except IF WE DO NOT GET ENOUGH HELP THE PROJECT CAN AND WILL BE DROPED!!! so please help.

EXPERTS: It would be nice if you all can give us some advice on the way, you dont have to but it would help us learn anim8or even more.

I prefer newb to noob, i've played a few online games, and a noob doesn't follow the rules, a newb is a new user...just thought i'd put that in, this seems to be coming together, i might see if i've got a few models to donate...

i like the title i have "up coming anim8or artist that inspires". i can be relied on for the basics of just about everything you can do in anim8or:modeling, figure creation, sequence editing, and scenes. i am not at all good with texture creation(i can use materials pretty well though) and i have no experience with morph targets. i am very much in support of a newb project it would help everyone learn alot.

thanks ok I will change it to newb. I am also glad that you all like your titles. And like I said its ok that your not that great at textures I mean its a newb project its not going to be the greatist but it is a start also im not the best at some of that stuff too, but when do you think this project should be launched because i am ready when you all are. I will donate some of my models and we will put everything to good use.

just thought i'd say, i partially understand morphs now, i just did the flag tutorial, but it will be a while untill i can simulate anything complex

Here is my latest work. It is suppose to be a werewolf. Im not 100% happy with it but I think it turned out pretty cool in a way. Still have to finish it up though. What do you all think? I am also going to post this on the unfinished work part to see what others think too.

I think it looks better than the last kid model. How are you making them? Edge extrussion, box modeling, or what.

i started with a circle and used lots of point editing and extrusions. the eyes and hair are seperate....not that you can really see the eyes
