Star wars rifles

Hey everyone,

These are my blaster rifles from star wars that i've made. The first one is a DC-15A, the gun
used by clonetroopers in episode 2. The other is the E-11, the basic stormtrooper rifle as
seen in 'A new hope'.

Each of these took about 3 hours to make. convenient is that they both use the same texture.
However, i'll remake the texture because i think it's a little to repetitive.

I'll update this post with new guns in time.

Here's a little update: The DH-15 blaster pistol, as used by the rebels onboard the
'Tantive IV' in episode 4: 'a new hope'. Again, this one uses the same texture.

The modeling looks pretty solid, but I would advise you work on the texture.  It's much too simple currently, and a bit unrealistic.  As you pointed out as well, it's very repetitive which takes away from the attractiveness of it.  I would also advise a bumpmap as you had a nice one for the helmet you created before.
