material Browser

If there are more materials than fit in the one column of the material list, how do I scroll through the list or is there some way to make the browser multi column? I did search for material on the forum but did not turn up an answer.
Thanks
Matthew

You click the materials and drag them up. I noticed this is as well but I figured it out pretty quickly.

Click and drag on the material bar to scroll. Just click on the materialbar, hold the mouse button and drag the mouse up/down.
