Use the UV button (. With this you can move, scale and rotate your texture. Select the faces you want to texture, apply the material and click UV.

You can also use UVMapper then photoshop and simple cut and paste as many times as you like or if you have various objects that you want the same do the first and texture it then just cut and paste in Anim8or and each new object will already be textured. This method allows you to alter each pasted object and it will still remain textured. PS if you alter it too much though the texture will distort.
If these don't help post some pics.

Thanks, but I've already found an alternative solution.

I have this problem again, and this time my solution don't work. For some reason scaling don't work and I don't want to alter my texture.

Can you tell us what you do when you try to scale your texture. Maybe we can help.

I select my object, click UV in the first mode(not sure how it is called), then from the menu I click edit UV(or something like that). Then pops-up a window with a number of option for rotating, scaling, flipping etc. UVs.First, I entered 5 xscale and 5 yscale. The texture become larger. After that 1/5 in both. There was no change.

That isn;t really the right way to use the UV tool in anim8or. The window that pop-up are the UV-settings, the don't apply on the texture yet. It's the easiest to leave these to default.
What you should do is this:

  • Select your object/ the faces you want to texture.
  • Select the material you want to apply and hit apply
  • Click on the UV-tool (), a yellow circle, similar to the arc rotate tool, should appear. When using V0.97 you might get a pop-up which will ask to if you want to enable texture generation, click yes.
  • Then using your mouse buttons you can scale, rotate and move the texture on the object. The UV-tool uses the same settings as the arc-rotate tool: Left mouse button = rotate, Right mouse button = move and middle mouse button (or right mouse button + the alt key when using a two button mouse) = scaling the texture.

I hope this helps.
