Odd Redering Problem
« on: October 25, 2008, 08:15:10 am »

hi

I have a strange rendering problem, and I don't understand why/what happened.  ???

I render in Scanline, Bicubic 3x3
object shoud cast/recieves shadows
shadows are set to Volume shadow (50%)
I am using version 97.c

I never had this before. ???

Any ideas or suggestions.
Thank you
eisbaer

EDIT: BTW, I just found out, if I render with Raytray (what I was thinking it need more resources) it worked and it even 3 times faster!? What is wrong with my Volume shadow?

Volume shadows never really worked perfect. Never use volume shadows because the will give you those stripes on your render, always use raytraced.

Thank you.
Anyway it is strange, I used it before without problems. After posting I went back to a my old models and tested it with them and not all end up like that.  ???

Thanks a lot!
