When I try to give my object a texture, it is aplied only on the non-extruded part, but on the extruded part is aplied a simple color.Is there anyway texture to be aplied on the extruded part?

you would have to use, either a external UV program, or anim8ors built in UV tool. Click the big button saying UV, and try it out a bit. You'll figure it out in notime

Ok, I finally manage to undestand the mechanism, but this time the textures wont fit.What external UV program are you using?

sorry to bud in but i wana ask a question... how do u use the UV map thing... its just a circle with a square that rotates in the middle.. i dont get what to do. is there a tutorial for it anywhere?

Sorry that I didnt mention it, but I have uvmapper and all tipes of uv maps (planar,box,etc.)doesnt fit.
