well my lights dont work on .97. i saved the test i was doing simple sphere and plane to see shadows. i opened it in .95 or 96 cant remember what i use. but it works fine. my specs are

OpenGL Vender:ATI technologies Inc.
OpenGL Renderer: Radeon 700 DDR x86/MMX/3DNOW!
OpenGL Version: 1.3.2454 Win9x Release
OS Version: Windows ME (4.90) Build 73010104

Make sure you have v0.97d from Sep. 21.  If that doesn't work I need to know in detail what the problem is: light types, shadow settings, renderer, etc.  Simply stating "It's broke!" is of no use :).

i didnt know there was a d. but i downloaded it and it works fine now.
