Live mirroring?
« on: October 11, 2008, 01:35:20 am »

Hello!

First, let me say -- Wow! I used to use Maya at school, and I've been looking for something free to do modelling in at home... not only is Anim8or free, but I like the tools way more than Maya's! :)

There's only one feature that I used all the time in Maya that I can't find in Anim8or. How do you create a mirror image of a mesh, that updates when you update the original? (Or however you can model symmetrically, to adjust both sides of a body at once, for example)

Thanks!

There is a plugin by CobraSpectre which makes it possible... But it doesn't really work the way plugins should work and it may not be safe to use it. You'll read more about it if you click the link...
