Parts Wont Texture
« on: September 21, 2008, 07:40:17 am »

I've been working on this pirate ship for a couple of days and I've started to add textures to it but the front of the hull wont texturize (real word? I dunno)

Any suggestions?

This is an error i have seen before on subdivided models. Is you ship subdivided, looks like it. I don't really know the cause of it, i think it's because subdividing screw up the edge flow most of the time, which makes it harder to texture it correctly. Only hint i could give is try to afoid subdividing (always use convert to subdivided, never subdivide faces) or make sure the edge-flow is correct.

No It's not that, I've tried to remake the hull but it still happens. It seems to happen when I use the peak faces tool

If I get you right you textured the hull and then used the peak faces tool? The peak faces tool will create new faces, which are not textured yet. You should texture those faces.
