How can you copy like say an arm to make the other instead of making two that are not exact the same

You can use the mirror tool: Go build>mirror choose the axis you want (mostly x) and click oke. This will mirror your object in the choosen axis.

pe...you realy need to read the manual as these are the basics.
Answering your question: Anim8or as most windows applications uses the Ctrl+X to cut, Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste or to make a pair , convert your model to mesh then mirror.
