Happy Easter
« on: March 22, 2008, 02:51:45 pm »

I just made this small animation about chocolate easter eggs, enjoying themselves then going next door to the swimming pool for a swim and then.....

It's not quite finished yet but when it is and I can keep the file size low I'll put it on my web site.

That sounds nice.
I have a few crits for the image you posted though.  First, the fence posts need more contrast.  To do that you can simply change the 'ambient' value.  Realistically this would be '0' in real life.  The ground texture doesn't seem to tile seamlessly, you may want to fix that.

Thanks hihosilver

I appreciate your comments and will apply them.
I made this 1 min animation including modelling, animation, voices and original music over 2 days so I could send it to a friend in time for Easter but I know it still has rough edges that need straighten out. I still have more ideas to add to the story but now that the rush is over I can add and fine tune and it's ok if I get it finished by next year  :)

Here's the pool

I have finished "An Easter Egg Tale", an animation with voices and music.
The original file size is 13 MB but I was able to reduce it to 2.3 Mb to put it online. Obviously, the quality of the image has gone down with the compression but the audio seems still the same.
