day to night

i have a valley, little indean playing a flute,  trees, fish jumping, the sun travels across the sky making morning till night. i made a lite blue  fog that makes the mountains look far away and misty. problem is when the sun gose down the sky should go black and stary but its misty blue.  any tips on how to over come this?

you have to turn the fog off somehow at a certain frame. like right when ur sun goes down. im not sure if u can do this manually. so you'll prolly have to go through open gl. i havent messed around with it yet. but i think your best bet is to look up open gl scripts, or try to learn it yourself. good luck dude. i hope i helped some.

You could render the scene in two parts: The first day part with the fog and then the night part without fog and paste them together in a video editor.
