@neirao: Thanks a lot, that was my fault and i didnt noticed it

, cause i used always the predefined views (front, left etc.) and didnt turn the view to see if the modifier is above the mesh

, i thought the modifier will "warp" to the mesh automatically, when i click "Bind Modifier".
@mp3d: the tutorials didnt give me the answer to my question

, i did some of em so far (flower, tires, bowl) and they are really great and helpful to learn the use of anim8or.
I was doing the tutorials when i got that problem

Btw., thanks to Steven Glanville for such a great program! I'm still wondering how it's possible that it's less than 2 MB

I guess that's what someone can call a very clean and proper coding.
