bone moving problem in sequence mode
« on: July 26, 2008, 12:08:45 am »

first id like to say thanks to the author. im pretty impressed by this 3d program. its really nicely done for free ware.

ok on to the issue:

i have set all the bones to free and no limits in figure mode, but when i get into sequence mode i cannot in any way get my bones to move other then on the green axis shown below. its kinda frustrating. i've looked over all the settings i thought could be doing this and looked in the manual/forums with no luck.

this is my first piece of 3d art designed for a future diablo clone game project thing. i would like to be able to lift the arms away from the sides along the purple axis and move the soulders along the blue axis but right now this seems impossible.

thanks in advance for the help.

It's nice to know that some of the new members are thinking!
Although you haven't searched or read hard enough, use the other mouse buttons to move the bones.
Left-x (Green)
Right-y (Blue)
Middle- z (Purple)

yeah, i knew that. it was working when i was in figure mode but recently it hasnt been. i tried going back to figure just now and it didnt work ne more. turns out it was my shitty old mouse. i replaced it with another i had lying around and its working great now. just cant believe how much time i spent searching and checking when it was the dumb ass mouse....

thx though tanzim. i was thinking maybe it was a bug or something in the programing so ur post put that thought to rest.
