Awesome looking chair huh? I didn't make it :P
Ok so here is mine:

I have been messing with the edge properties like in the hand tutorial but I can't really get it to match the actual chair or anything like it in terms of having only some of the edges rounded and the rest of it not. Any suggestions?
I am thinking about just cutting the faces and shifting the points and scaling them like in the heli-demo... BUT it would be neat-o if someone knew of a function that would be rounding the edges (there will be MANY more objects that I have to do that will require this).
BTW I love these forums and I am impressed with the community and everyone's general enthusiasm with helping others.

The bevel tool can do this in combination with a subdivision object.  It's called edge reinforcement.  When edges are closer together, they change more sharply.  So you can use the bevel tool, or manually use the knife tool which can give you better results.  Look in the manual to see about the bevel tool.

Now you have your answer you might want to ask an admin to move this to the Finished Works and WIPs sections.
