VK has been using Anim8or for a while.  This amazing model is one of his latest creations.  But wait until you hear this:  He runs Anim8or on a Macintosh!  He uses Connectix Virtual PC to emulate Windows and reports that Anim8or works well.

The model was exported in .obj format and imported into Poser.  It is available as a free download at http://www.3dcommune.com/ in the Poser section.  He has about a dozen other models there as well.
