Preston made these models in Anim8or.  He created all the textures using Microsoft Paint and used the Universe demo to create the backdrop.  It's a nice scene and I especially like the color scheme.  Most space scenes you see aren't yellowish despite the fact that there are lots of yellow and orange stars in the galaxy.
